Flow

Each drop delicately sticks
Holding strong without toppling
Without knowledge of having ever toppled
Showing elasticity like spring’s synchronicity
Tears leap from the sky to first aid– nourishing
Whether puddles or droplets gaining extra depth
Or charred metal bleeding rust with each stab
Corroding, inevitable disintegration with
Each drop gently falling to the earth
Free falling as part of the source
Splattered continuity– returns
